Where it All Began: Cushy Couch was created by Managing Director, Romy Dankner in 2001. Having run her own children's agency and being surrounded by a large extended family, Romy saw a gap in the market for unique and innovative kid's products. Romy sought to create a range of homewares that would look great and that the kids would love.

After many months of brainstorming and research, Cushy Couch's first single couch emerged onto the market, with an overwhelming response from both mums and retailers Australia wide. Romy soon developed the Cushy Couch range further to include double couches , bean chairs , ottomans and accessories , all of which can now be found in living rooms throughout Australia and New Zealand .

Cushy Couch has developed into a unique, contemporary homewares brand with a diverse range of high quality designer products for kids that make everyone happy.
